Was totally delighted when the sheets arrived and they were actually 1200 thread count. Previously I had bought a 1000 thread count set of sheets and they were so heavy, they were hot and hard to sleep with under the weight.. so I was thrilled when these 1200 thread count are as light as can be! They are silky soft after being washed a few times already.. I did follow the directions for washing exactly, and dried them on low in my dryer with the bouncy balls, and they are really wonderful... am going to order a second set for myself and othes for Christmas gifts!!!
